Short rows add shaping to a garment and is a technique that is commonly used to create a heel in a sock or add a 'set-in' sleeve to a sweater. This class will introduce you to several different ways to do short row stitches, including how to incorporate them into the rest of your knitting.

Materials: Smooth, light-colored worsted weight scrap yarn with size 7, 8, or 9 needles Homework: Cast on 30 sts. Knit in garter stitch for 4 rows, then in stockinette stitch for 6 rows. Bring swatch to class on needles, ready to begin short rows
